On November 27th, Zhejiang Polytechnic University of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (ZUME) held a promotion meeting for the self - evaluation material group of the quality certification of higher vocational education for international students. Tao Yu, Dean of the School of International Education, Gao Shuiqin, Secretary of the Party General Branch, Zhang Weizhong, Vice Dean, and directors of each office and teaching & research section attended the meeting, which was presided over by Dean Tao Yu.

At the meeting, Tao Yu affirmed the college's work of the previous stage and put forward three requirements for the next stage. The first is to assign tasks to individuals, strictly follow the time schedule, efficiently complete the certification work, and ensure its orderly and effective progress to achieve good results. The second is to use the evaluation to promote the improvement of the school's international student training system. We should actively benchmark, correctly interpret the connotation and extension of the certification index system, make up for shortcomings, find and fill in the gaps, and comprehensively and systematically find out the school's international student education highlights. The third is to take the quality certification as an opportunity to further strengthen the top - level design of international student work, innovate working ideas, and promote the coordinated development of international student education.

Members of the self-evaluation material group had an in-depth and extensive discussion on the progress of their respective parts and shared their thoughts and ideas. They all stated that they would develop concrete action plans based on the issues and suggestions raised in the discussion and implement them in their subsequent work to lay a solid foundation for the certification work of international students.
